Kempen & Co Debt Advisory is a growing team, advising clients on the origination, structuring, and execution of debt financings. As a Debt Advisory intern you will work closely with specialists from all of our five sector teams on preparing pitches to win new mandates and the execution of ongoing projects and transactions. Our close cooperation with the sector teams offers broad exposure to Kempen & Co’s wider activities. During the three-month internship period, you will operate as a fully-fledged team member and you will be actively involved in (strategy) discussions. Typical tasks of an intern include, amongst others:
- Collecting and analyzing company and market information;
- Preparing presentations for clients and/or other advisors;
- Performing detailed financial analyses.

We are looking for candidates with affinity with financial markets and preparing (financial) analyses. You have excellent analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills and you are a real team player. Check your profile:
- Master phase or master’s degree, preferably near or recent graduates with an economic, financial or technical background;
- Proven affinity with the financial world;
- Demonstrable (e.g., through prior internships) interest in debt instruments and capital structure is a strong plus;
- Strong team player willing to go the extra mile;
- Above average grades;
- Extracurricular activities;
- Strong communication skills; and
- Fluent in English (Dutch is not a requirement)
