Kempen Corporate Finance and Equity Capital Markets focuses on five sectors, including Real Estate, Life Sciences & Healthcare, FI & Fintech, Infrastructure, Maritime & Offshore serving clients throughout Europe. Within these sectors we have in-depth knowledge about the companies, the investors and the latest developments and trends. These insights enable us to provide our clients with invaluable support in the area of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions such as IPOs. In 2018 we executed 37 transactions with an aggregated value of more than 38 billion. On average we execute over 35 transactions per year.
In practice this means that an Intern will work in teams on the execution of different types of transactions as well as conduct strategic studies and prepare pitches to win new mandates. Typical tasks of an intern include, amongst others:
- Collecting and analyzing company and market information;
- Preparing presentations for clients and/or other advisors; and
- Performing detailed valuation and financial analyses.

- Scientific or financial master’s degree;
- Affinity with life sciences and the financial sector;
- Master phase or master’s degree, preferably with a scientific or financial background;
- Above average grades;
- Extracurricular activities; and strong communication skills.
