Your job

The Business Manager of Client Management & Origination Private Client Regions is responsible for supporting the CMO Private Clients Regions leadership team in order to achieve our short and long term commercial objectives in terms of clients, assets-under-management and revenues. This role requires a candidate who has strong interpersonal skills and is committed to excellence, and has the personal presence and demeanour to represent Van Lanschot Kempen with distinction.

The role centers around supporting the leadership team of CMO Private Client Regions in a broad area of topics. This can range from developing further insight in the client and prospect base, focused commercial assignments and prepare plans and presentations for different committees and projects. Next to the commercial area also compliance and risk related activities and special projects are part of activities. Next to regions there is a strong cooperation with the other parts of Private Clients, the Specialties and Semi Institutions. Several projects cover all these areas and therefor you also cooperate with broader leadership team of Private Clients.

This involves finding your way within the organisation as well as the coordination, project management, and collaboration with other members of the organisation in order to meet assigned sales goals and firm-wide product initiatives.

Your experience

Although knowledge and/or affinity with the financial sector is obviously important, we prefer to look at certain competencies. Competencies that are decisive to make the difference in this role. 

  • You have knowledge and affinity with Risk and Compliance topics;
  • You are familiar with CRM systems, Power BI, and similar applications;
  • You have excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills in English;
  • You are highly effective in forging working relationships with team members and business counterparts;
  • You have the ambition to to grow further within commercial environment.

Besides the hard requirements above, we are looking for a self-starter, who is client focused, has a hands on mentality, Tech-Savvy and has a strong drive to learn.
