If you find settlements interesting and know better than anyone how important this is within the securities world, then we are looking for you! Trade & Derivatives is part of the Security Operation department. Trade & Derivatives is responsible for a large part of the administrative settlement and recording of executed transactions. Within Trade & Derivatives we have different product groups, Confirmations Services, Settlements, Reconciliation, Agency Service and the OTC derivatives administration. In the settlements employee position you are responsible for handling all settlements worldwide. The range of tasks includes:
- submitting instructions and monitoring them
- processing the securities bookings in the systems
monitor FX- All and CTM, help with onboarding new customers, - drawing up and maintaining process descriptions
maintaining contact with both internal and external customers; contacts with the Global Custodians link between front and back office - you also have a critical view of efficiency and seeing possibilities for automation/robotization
- collaborate with the other team members within the Trade & Derivatives team, from IT to commerce, and you will participate in projects.
Your talents
We are looking for someone who has experience with settlements and is familiar with process improvements and who works accurately and results-oriented. You can function well both independently and within a team and you will have the opportunity to further learn and develop. Knowledge of the securities world is an advantage as the work relates to investment services to our clients.
You also have:
- HBO or MBO+ (Banking & Insurance) education
- at least 3 years of experience with settlements
- be familiar with process improvements
- you have good knowledge and experience with MS Excel
- you have a practical attitude and ' can -do' mentality
- you have the will to continuously learn and develop
- you have a good command of the Dutch and English language (business English), both orally and in writing.
