Within our Functional Business teams, an increasing amount of automation is taking place.  To this end, we offer you a position in our IT P&S department, where you will, on the one hand, take care of the running of the existing business applications and, on the other, provide (practical) support and realisation of the various automation projects. You will work using the Agile Scrum methodology. 

Besides the automation of modern business applications, search and analysis tools occupy an increasingly important position within the organisation. You are responsible for the (critical) translation of needs into technical implementation.

Do you have broad knowledge of and experience with application implementations running on Premise systems or in the Azure Cloud?  Of both traditional client-server solutions and modern microservice solutions (dockers) powered via Azure Pipelines and/or are you willing to delve deeper into these?  And would you like to make an important structural contribution to the maintenance and development of our IT infrastructure? If so, we would like to talk to you.

Enthusiastic, broad interest and passion for the job. That's how we can best describe you as Linux Engineer / Application Manager. These are talents that you will use to become an important part of the team. In addition:

  • You have a passion for technology and are analytical, hands-on, quality- and result-oriented
  • You have an affinity with various operating systems and operating system virtualisation, such as Linux (CentOS & Redhat) and Windows
  • You have knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Elastic Search & Kibana
  • You are familiar with software deployments and a strong focus on operations and housekeeping.
  • You communicate easily, both with the SW developers and the functional teams.
  • You have an HBO working and thinking level
  • Experience with Agile working
  • Number of years' experience as technical Application Manager is an advantage
